Description
This Botswana Standard is a practical guide on occupational health and safety and environmental aspects in and around timber treatment plants with the intention to reduce health and safety and environmental risks. It is applicable to any treatment process (as described in BOS 174) in which waterborne preservatives, flame-retardants, anti-sapstain chemicals, organic solvent-based preservatives or oil-borne preservatives are used.
