Accreditation is the formal recognition by an independent body, generally known as an accreditation body, that an organization operates according to international standards. The organization recognized for its competence to perform specific activities.

BOBS is accredited by HRDC on the following scopes:

Education and Training Provider (ETP)
BOBS is accredited by Southern African Development Community Accreditation services (SADCAS) for its testing laboratories against ISO/IEC 17025:2017 on the following scopes:
Microbiology Analysis (E.coli & Coliforms, Intestinal Enterococci, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Cultural Micro-organisms, Detection and Enumeration of C. Perfringens in water)
Civil Engineering testing(Compressive strength, Water absorption, Transverse strength in concrete masonry units, Concrete kerbs and burnt clay bricks)
Mechanical Engineering testing (Tensile properties in pipes)A
BOBS is accredited by Southern African Development Community Accreditation services (SADCAS) for its calibration laboratories against ISO/IEC 17025:2017 on the following scopes:
Temperature (Calibration of Liquid-in-glass thermometers, digital thermometers, thermocouples, resistance thermometers and on-site calibration temperature installations)
Dimension (Calibration of engineers steel rule, vernier callipers, external micrometres and dial gauge indicators)

BOBS is accredited by Southern African Development Community Accreditation services (SADCAS ) as an Inspection Body against ISO/IEC 17020:2012 on the following scopes:

Agricultural Products, Automotive Products, Building Products. Chemical Products, Electrical Products, Food Products, and Mechanical Products
BOBS is accredited by Southern African Development Community Accreditation services (SADCAS ),in the field of mass metrology as per the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for the following scope:
