Fire extinguishing media — Powder — Specification
Description
1.1 This standard specifies requirements for fire extinguishing powders for fires of Class A, Class B and Class C. 1.2 This standard does not cover the assessment of the performance of an extinguishing powder in a particular piece of equipment, other than the standard test extinguishers used in some of the tests. NOTE The onus is on the user to ensure compatibility between a powder and the equipment in which it is used.
