Gaming equipment – Part 3: Wagering record keeping systems
Description
This part of BOS 202 specifies the general hardware and software requirements and the list of significant events required by the Botswana Licensing Authority (LA), for record keeping systems for the acceptance by licensed operators of wagers on events permitted by the LA. NOTE 1 There are additional legislative requirements for on-line and internet wagering. NOTE 2 This standard does not include requirements for internet-based wagering record-keeping systems. NOTE 3 There is no intention to phase-out the requirements of IEC 60950 and to replace them by IEC 60335-2-82, as is being done for gaming machines, since equipment used with the wagering record keeping system (WRS) will consist of computers and peripheral equipment.
