Description
Specifies three methods for examination and determination of colour.
– examination of apparent colour by visually observing a water sample in a bottle.
– determination of colour by visual comparison of the water sample with known concentrations of coloured solutions.
– determination of true colour of a water sample by absorbance analysis involving filtration through a filter membrane and subsequent spectrophotometric measurement of the absorbance of the filtrate.
