Bituminous damp-poof courses – Specification
Description
“This specification covers the following three types of damp-proof course for use in the waterproofing of buildings: Type AA: Damp-proof course with a base of asbestos-felt and a net mass of at least 33.5 kg/9 m2.
Type FV: Damp-proof course with a base of fibre-felt and a net mass of at least 57.0 kg/18 m2.
Type GH: Damp-proof course with a base of hessian and a net mass of at least 33.5 kg/9 m2.
NOTE 1 Requirements that should be specified by the purchaser and those that may be agreed upon between purchaser and supplier are listed in Annex A.
NOTE 2 Assessment of compliance with the requirements for the mineral filler (see 3.2) requires special agreement between purchaser and supplier regarding the sampling procedure to be used.”
