Description
Specifies requirements for providing information regarding pre-packaged products. It sets rules of a general nature applicable to all pre-packaged products put on the market. It is applicable to pre-packaged products to be delivered as such to the ultimate consumer, but excludes foods, feeds, tobacco and pharmaceutical products. It also addresses some aspects relating to presentation of pre-packaged products. This standards prohibits the use of information that would mislead the purchaser.
