BOBS has laboratories that offer testing in areas of micro-biology, chemistry, textiles, mechanical, civil engineering, and electrical engineering. Regulation of Compulsory Standards
Regulation of Measuring & Weighing Instruments for Trade
Traders use measuring and weighing instruments to package and price their products. To ensure that these instruments are measuring correctly, by law they must be checked and verified for measuring correctly. BOBS does these checks on an annual basis and as a sign of compliance or non-compliance these instruments marked with a Stamp of assize sticker.
